Once the Work Package 3 of the GrowINg project, entitled as “Structure and development of the “Entrepreneurial Tools for SMEs” has been concluded, along with its two deliverables, the:
1.Online entrepreneurial skills assessment tool, and
2.Handbook for Entrepreneurial skilled employees
the consortium of the project, proceeded to the organization and launch of the national working groups along with external stakeholders. The main aim of this meetings is to collect qualitative feedback and insights on the deliverables of the project and be up-to-date based on the current needs of the SMEs.
The implementation of the 3rd working group in Cyprus, Greece and Portugal, took place during February – March 2022, managed to attract 26 stakeholders, experts, consultants, HR managers and managers of SMEs in general. Through the 3 working group, participants got informed about the Online Entrepreneurial skills assessment tool and the handbook for entrepreneurial skills employees. Through the open discussion and the exchange of ideas on the two deliverables, the group managed to achieve:
- Clear insights on the way that SMEs can upgrade their internal training
The group concluded that the two deliverables that have been produced, have a good quality and a clear strategy and the beneficiaries that will use it, will obtain innovative ways of training their employees. Some quotes that were expressed from the participants during the working groups, are:
- “The entrepreneurial assessment tool is a very helpful tool for any entrepreneur because you can understand your level and in which areas you need further work.”
- “What I found interesting in the handbook is the extensive in
formation and analysis on ways to promote the employees’ entrepreneurial skills.” - “Many of the activities included in the handbook are very interesting and described in an adequate way to guide companies in implementing them.”
