From May to August 2022 SMEs from Portugal, Greece and Cyprus embraced GrowINg tools and tested them in their workplaces!

The last period of the project consisted of the implementation of the tools in multiple workplaces. Eighteen companies from the three countries of the consortium supported the implementation. Partners promoted 3 editions of the training for SMEs, involving 29 participants. The training focused on the presentation of the main topics of the project and the simulation of the use of the strategies and tools developed in the scope of the project:

The participants of the training acted as multipliers and mobilized different workers while implementing the tools in companies. 130 workers were involved in the real-life testing, contributing to the evaluation and validation of the GrowINg tools.

Companies identified different benefits related to the implementation of the GrowINg approach in their workplaces. The majority of the initiatives/resources were considered an added value in supporting companies to value human resources management and recognition. One of the initiatives widely recognized as being important were the entrepreneurial challenges, during which companies consider that:

  • allowed the active involvement of workers in the identification of solutions to overcome the problems and challenges identified by them
  • promote the discussion and work in teams among people that usually don’t cooperate with each other
  • allowed companies to adjust the internal procedures to the expectations and needs of workers
  • are suitable to be implemented on a regular basis

Several workers provided their testimony related to the experience during the testing:

“The GrowINg approach allows companies to dedicate time to reflect, define important strategies to value human resources”

“It was critical to give voice to people who identify challenges and involve them in the identification of solutions”

“GrowINg brought boldness to the learning and growth of workers and company”
