The results of the 2nd GrowINg Working Group in Cyprus, Greece, and Portugal are out!
The 2nd GrowINg working group concluded after fruitful interactions with 28 external stakeholders. The partners from Cyprus, Greece, and Portugal materialized the 2nd meeting to present and assess the Framework for Learning at the Workplace deliverable.
Cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset and skills can be impactful for employees. Such opportunities can empower individuals to grow in business frames and take up new ventures and grow. This is the essence of GrowINg!
The document presented in the meeting aims to meet certain needs in the SMEs’ context:
- Define and embed a strategy for career guidance in an SME context.
- Develop adult learning opportunities at work.
- Help employees to extent their entrepreneurial skills
From the discussion with 28 stakeholders, it was clear that the framework meets the demands of SMEs and training providers. Experts highlighted as main strengths:
- guide’s practicality in SMEs
- clear organization and structure of the handbook
- high-quality content
- appealing design
Some suggestions for improvement were also shared by experts: the integration of a step by step approach to guide SMEs in following the methodology of the framework was proposed by experts in the meeting. The consortium agreed on following the suggestion when structuring the capacitation programme for SMEs.
